Cassandra Macindoe, Masters of Design in Fashion & Textiles
The Glasgow School of Art
Cassandra’s work is an invitation to a more sustainable future. It challenges designers and educators to think through the social and environmental impacts of their work, exploring issues such as waste, transparency, sizism, and body image.
Diverging from her zero-waste contemporaries, Cassandra has used this year to develop alternative approaches to sustainable garment construction, making extensive use of pre-loved garments and offcuts to create unique designs, each with their own embedded stories.
